In honor of the ongoing efforts of so many staff within the VUMC Department of Pediatrics, the STAR Awards of Employee of the Month and Spotlight Award are created as a new tradition in our department as monthly employee recognitions. These awards recognize and reinforce the behaviors and values that are important at VUMC and described in the Vanderbilt Credo. Link to nominate

Spotlight Awards
These are designed to recognize special contributions, as they occur, for a specific project, tasks or acts of service. Spotlight Awards are generally for a special contribution accomplished over a relatively short time period. A Spotlight Award lets employees know that someone has noticed their noteworthy contribution. In appreciation and recognition, this award is $25 and public acknowledgement within the Pediatric Department.
