Making MOC Easy
May 16, 2017

The Department wants to make earning American Board of Pediatrics MOC Part 4 credits easy. A number (generally 50 or more) of Part 4 credits for “improving professional practice” are required for recertification by the ABP.

As a MOC Portfolio sponsor, we can review, approve, and grant credit for internal QI work. Currently, 20 departmental projects have been approved to grant 25 points of Part 4 credit.  Did you know that if your Division actively discusses, designs, and implements tests of change to improve new patient access that you could get MOC credit?

See the Quality Improvement page for details about how to join an existing project or apply for approval for a new QI project. If your cycle ends this year, the time to think about these credits is now.
