Becoming a Better Educator Series

The Department of Pediatrics will be hosting its third annual summertime series of presentations, “Becoming a Better Educator,” to help busy clinicians be more effective teachers in clinical settings. The presentations are held on Mondays throughout the summer from 12:00–1:00 in the Wadlington conference room. Faculty from all professions, fellows, and residents are welcome to attend.

July 16: Tools for Teaching in a Busy Clinic (Rebecca Swan and Aida Yared)

July 23: Methods for Engaging Learners in Lectures (Tyler Reimschisel and Tara Minor)

July 30: Transforming Formative Feedback into Effective Written Assessments (Whitney Browning and Joe Gigante)

August 13: Conflict Resolution (Tyler Reimschisel)

August 20: The Quiet Learner (Aida Yared and Tara Minor)
