Members of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension evaluate and treat children with congenital or acquired diseases of the kidney and all types of hypertension. Our extensive research facilities, education opportunities, and clinical programs enable our faculty to continue making breakthrough advances in the health of children. We continuously strive to improve the care we provide by integrating recent discoveries and established treatments.
Research interests of members of the Division include hypertension, cardiovascular disease in children with hypertension and chronic kidney disease, impact of the renin-angiotensin system in the outcome of kidney disease, podocyte injury and fibrosis in the development and progression renal disease, and cancer-related kidney disease.
