Biostatistician Request Form
The Department of Biostatistics offers collaborative support in all areas of biostatistical expertise including experimental design, data analysis, data management, reporting and graphics.

Biomedical Research Education and Training (BRET)
The office of Biomedical Research Education and Training (BRET) is responsible for furthering the educational and career goals of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Core Ordering and Reporting Enterprise System (CORES)
The Core Ordering and Reporting Enterprise System has been designed to facilitate the purchase of products and services from a wide variety of VUMC research related core facilities and shared resources, and to provide detailed information to researchers and administrators about core purchases. Data Integrated Study Console of Vanderbilt's Research Enterprise (DISCOVR-E)
This portal provides secure access to the review status of Human Subject Research studies. (VUnet ID required)

Animal Care and Use Program
The Division of Animal Care ensures humane care and use of research animals. There are three main program elements: Husbandry and Animal Facility Services, Veterinary Care and Business Administration. (VUnet ID required)

IMPACTT (Individualized Measured Performance and Collabortive Training Techniques)
This quality improvement program is designed to assist Investigators in human subjects research through support, consultation, and collaboration. An IMPACTT visit is free, efficient, informative, confidential, comprehensive and provides an open forum for questions and answers.

KnowledgeMap (School of Medicine)
KnowledgeMap (KM) is a web application developed at Vanderbilt to enhance medical education. It is based on a rigorous, score-based concept indexer (the KM concept indexer) that identifies UMLS concepts in uploaded full-text documents. We have built tools to search documents, identify relevant pubmed searches, and identify where certain "metaconcepts" topics are taught. In addition, the program includes course management and calendaring features, as well as automatic document conversion.

The mission of this office is to support and assist postdoctoral fellows during their training at Vanderbilt.

This website, developed by Vanderbilt investigators, aims to bring together people who are trying to find research studies, and researchers who are looking for people to participate in their studies. It is a free and secure registry that has been developed in collaboration with major academic institutions across the country who want to make a real difference for everyone's health in the future.

Research Support Services
The mission of this office is to assist investigators in navigating the complex human research process at Vanderbilt University. Research Services Consultants, experienced professionals in conducting research or Institutional Review Board activities, provide guidance in the following areas: study organization, IRB navigation, training, protocol development, preparation of study related documents, funding and contractual agreements, and overall program advisory (IMPACTT).

StarBRITE
StarBRITE, the Biomedical Research Integration, Translation and Education portal, is an interactive system that provides one stop shopping for research needs. Use StarBRITE to identify resources, find experts, access templates for research preparation and study conduct, obtain database development software, learn about educational requirements and opportunities, and receive help with research application and approval processes. Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization
The Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization plays the major role in protecting and preserving the intellectual property assets of Vanderbilt University, licensing technology developed by Vanderbilt inventors and innovators, and assisting in the start-up of companies which commercialize Vanderbilt technology.
