Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Opens Specialty Clinic in Cookeville

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has opened a specialty clinic in Cookeville, Tenn., currently offering appointments in Pediatric Urology.
The Vanderbilt Children’s Clinic, located at 100 West 4th Street, Suite 320, will enable more children to get the specialized medical care they need—close to home.

Brock III, M.D., Monroe Carell Jr. Professor, professor of Urologic Surgery, director of the Division of Pediatric Urology and Children's Hospital surgeon-in-chief. This allows us to become more integrated into the greater Cookeville community providing families the opportunity for outstanding pediatric urologic care close to their homes.”
Vanderbilt Pediatric Urology is recognized as one of the nation's best programs by U.S News & World Report, ranking No. 4 in 2013. The Cookeville care team will include Stacy Tanaka, M.D., assistant professor of Pediatric Urology.
“We have been enthusiastic about coming to Cookeville for a long time,” said Tanaka. “I am thrilled that we have a start date so that we can start seeing our patients from Cookeville and the surrounding areas, in Cookeville.”
In May, the clinic will begin to offer appointments for Cardiology.
