The members of Division of Pediatric Endocrinology treat a wide range of hormone-related disorders in children. Approximately half of our patients are referred to us for care of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Other areas diagnosed, followed, and treated by Vanderbilt pediatric endocrinologists include adrenal gland disorders, bone and calcium disorders, growth disorders, pituitary gland disorders, hypoglycemia, puberty disorders, thyroid disease, osteogenesis imperfecta, and certain genetic disorders.
