The Institute for Global Health fosters interdisciplinary research, teaching and service activities linked to health and/or development in resource-limited settings in the developing world. With projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, the institute serves as a facilitating body for expanding the activities of individual scientists and departments across the Vanderbilt community and works to aid multidisciplinary research efforts in diseases of poverty, tropical climes and health disparities.
